So here's a pic that's LONG overdue. It is a...I just decided to make it one of my free commisions, since it wouldn't cost her anything, and she DID request it. Hope you don't mind, Natsuki...
So Smirks105 is a big fan of rainbow hair and mermaids. i may have gone a little overboard in the rainbow department, but it was fun to explore a new way to go about the design of a mermaid. I tried to put my own twist on it.
If your wondering if that animal on the right is a seal or something...honestly, I really don't know.
Um...Half traditional media, such as the mermaid and the seal, and half photoshop.(The background) *sigh* I tried...

The previous comment was all about the uniqueness of the mermaid. I haven't even started on the body position! The curves in her arm and torso are sexy realistic with impressive foreshadowing. And HELLO--her hands are wonderfully drawn. The creases on her neck and forearm are well done (it's always surprising how many people get those wrong, including me). Her hair has a beautiful wave suggesting like she's hovering in the water, and still maintains realism that also frames her face. You even put on tiny curved folds on the edge of her tail fin--INCREDIBLE!
